Introduction
Barbers on Collins is a barbershop in Melbourne's CBD, right on Collins Street, one of the city's most recognisable strips. They're pushing past barbering into a full lifestyle brand for men, cars, fragrance, grooming, the whole package, and came to us for visuals that could carry that ambition.

Challenge
The visuals needed to hold up as a photoreal, cinema-shot look on both the website and the LED signage facing straight onto Collins Street, one of Melbourne's busiest streets.
We built a custom F1-style car in an all-black Barbers on Collins livery, set across two environments: a studio scene anchored by a premium black desk and lifestyle props, and a tunnel cut with a darker, more atmospheric treatment. Glare, dust particles and lighting sold the realism, and everything was composited in DaVinci for a cinema-camera look rather than a rendered one. Style frames were signed off before animation began, locking the lighting and camera direction ahead of production.

Outcome
The result is a scene built to read as real first and CGI second, made to work as hard on a shopfront screen on one of Melbourne's busiest streets as it does online.
The car appears across two cuts, a static studio piece and a moving sequence through the tunnel, so the same build carries both a premium retail feel in person and a more cinematic one online.
